Jehan is a 5th year Ph.D. candidate in the Kinesiology program at Columbia University Teacher's College. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2017, Jehan received a Master's Degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Jehan previously worked as a laboratory assistant in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh and the Physical Therapy- Clinical and Translational Research Center (PT-CTRC). She also volunteered to assist in the center for Balance Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh medical center. Jehan is the assistant lab manager and lead social media marketer.
Jehan is interested in the motor control of complex whole-body movement and artificial intelligence. More specifically, for her thesis, she is exploring the biomechanics of transitional mobility using clinical assessments and motion capture technologies.
In her spare time, you will find Jehan reading a book near her favorite sculptures at Columbia.
