Lilliana Romero is currently a research volunteer in Neurorehabilitation Research Lab at TC Columbia University. Lilliana completed a BA in Physical Education at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR-RP), an MA in Kinesiology at the UPR-M, and an Ed.M. in Applied Physiology at TC Columbia University. Lilliana earned a Teaching Assistant position at the UPRM for three years, where she was the founder and president of the Graduate Kinesiology Association. After obtaining a Kinesiology degree, she continued as Professor in the Kinesiology Department. Furthermore, Lilliana presented and published research posters at the ACSM Annual Meeting related to physical activity, body composition, and fundamental motor skills, obtaining the “FASEB MARC Program Poster / Oral Presentation Travel Award.” She also had the opportunity to perform an oral presentation of one of these abstracts at the Olympic Committee of Puerto Rico. Her research interests include motor skills, body composition, and physical activity. In addition, she enjoys dancing, traveling, and playing sports in her spare time.
