Here are some frequently asked questions about the Printmaking Art Studio. If you have any additional questions that are not on this list, please email printmaking@tc.columbia.edu.
General Studio
The Printmaking Studio is located in Macy 56 & 58 (ground/level basement of Macy Hall) on the Teachers College campus at 525 W 120th St, New York, NY 10027.
The Printmaking Studio is available during open studio hours for use by TC students currently enrolled in a printmaking course.
Due to the potentially hazardous equipment and materials used in the studio, visitors of any kind, including TC students not enrolled in a printmaking class, may not enter without permission from faculty.

Community Printmaking Program
The Community Printmaking has evolved since its inception, and currently provides studio access to non-TC artists working in lithography, woodblock, etching, silkscreen, and combined processes.
The Community Printmaking Program is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Current TC-matriculated students are ineligible.
For the spring 2025 session, participants are expected to have some prior experience in printmaking.
For the Fall and Spring semester, sessions typically last for 13 weeks. For the Summer semester, session typically last for 10 weeks. Special Topics courses and workshops range in duration and are not offered every session.
