Pathways to Publication & Practice

Pathways to Publication is a professional development feature of the conference that began in 1997. Pathways provides a forum where journal editors or representatives discuss the publication process of their respective journals. This forum serves to stimulate novice researchers and to encourage conference presenters to publish their research and papers.

In years past, Pathways featured numerous journals, including: Asian American Journal of Psychology, Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology, Journal of Black Psychology, Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development, Journal of Negro Education, and the Counseling Psychologist.

Pathways to Practice is a professional development feature of the conference that began in 2009 and provides a forum where mental health professionals discuss strategies for establishing a culturally competent practice that serves a diverse clientele.
