A friend of Teachers College, who wishes to remain anonymous, announced recently the establishment of a full tuition scholarship to be awarded to a TC student in special education. The first award will begin in the fall 1998 semester.

A committee made up of representatives from the Office of Admissions and Student Aid, the Special Education department, and the Office of Development and External Affairs, as well as the donor, will select the student who will receive this award.

In addition to providing full tuition, the scholarship will also pay for a portion of the selected student's living expenses.
