1998 Job Fair

The Third Annual K-12 Educator's Job Fair will take place on Friday, February 27, 1998, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Job Fair, organized by the Career Services Center, will draw between 45-50 school districts and educational organizations, mostly from the tri-state area. It will be held in the cafeteria and is open to any student or alumnus of the College. A student/alumni ID is necessary for admission.

The Job Fair, organized by the Career Services Center, will draw between 45-50 school districts and educational organizations, mostly from the tri-state area. It will be held in the cafeteria and is open to any student or alumnus of the College. A student/alumni ID is necessary for admission.

To date, employers have indicated an interest in majors including Administration, Reading, Art, Guidance, Science, Industrial Technology, Social Studies, Bilingual, Spanish, Computer Science, Library Media, Special Education, Early Childhood, Library Science, Speech/Language Pathology, Elementary Education, Math, Teacher Assistant, English, Music, Technology Education, ESL, Physical Education, Occupational Therapy, French, and Psychology.

Participating employers will include New York City, New York State, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania public and private schools. Representatives from schools and other employers in Maryland, Massachusetts, Illinois, Virginia, Florida, Rhode Island, California, and the U.S. Virgin Islands will also be attending.
