TC Professor Involved in Nationwide Effort to Develop Urban Education Leaders

Teachers College Professor, Henry M. Levin, has been selected to work with a design team that is helping to develop the American Association of School Administrator's part in a nationwide effort to create leaders for urban schools.
With help from the Wallace-Reader's Digest Funds, in the form of a $150 million initiative called "Leaders Count," AASP recently announced its plans to develop a nationwide program to recruit and prepare people to lead urban schools. AASA is one of nine nationally recognized organizations to received grants for the effort.
