Yokatsu High School students from Okinawa, Japan presented a performance for peace at Horace Mann Auditorium on March 31, 2003 with the coordination of Peace Education Center, Teachers College.  Their school, located next to a U.S military base, is a campus active in peace education organized through students' leadership.  This year's theme was "Voice from the Oppressed."  The student performers expressed feelings of anger, pain, and sadness toward discrimination and war and conveyed their eagerness for peace through dance, story telling, poetry readings and song.
