Dougherty and Natow present on performance-based funding at AERA

Performance-based funding to colleges and universities, based on how well that college or university does on outcomes such as rates of retention, graduation and job placement, is too vulnerable to the ups and downs of state revenue and political support, according to Kevin J. Dougherty, associate professor of higher education and senior research associate at TC's Community College Research Center; and Rebecca S. Natow, senior research assistant at the center.
