Fuhrman Participates in NBC Education Summit

On Tuesday, President Susan H. Fuhrman participated on a panel, "Study Abroad: What can we learn from the global leaders in education?" moderated by Andrea Mitchell at the NBC News Education Nation summit.

On Tuesday, President Susan H. Fuhrman participated on a panel, “Study Abroad:  What can we learn from the global leaders in education?” moderated by Andrea Mitchell at the NBC News Education Nation Summit. Fuhrman, who knows Moderator Mitchell from her days at the University of Pennsylvania, where Mitchell is a trustee, will draw on her experience developing collaborations with other nations and the projects she conducted with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Other panelists are Mona Mourshed, a Partner with McKinsey & Company, where she co-leads the global education practice; Sir Ken Robinson, an internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources; and Pasi Sahlberg, Director General of the Centre for International Mobility (CIMO) in Helsinki, Finland.
