Lisa Miller Named to APA Council of Representatives

TC's Lisa Miller, Associate Professor of Psychology and Education, has been elected to serve on the American Psychological Association's Council of Representatives, the organization's governing body.
TC’s Lisa Miller, Associate Professor of Psychology and Education, has been elected to serve on the American Psychological Association’s Council of Representatives, the organization’s governing body. The council sets the organization’s internal policies, but also represents the voice of America’s psychology profession in public affairs, through its statements to Capitol Hill and its resolutions, policy statements, and statements of ethical standards on a wide range of issues.

Miller is widely known for her work focusing on the intersection of psychology and spirituality. Her research addresses such topics as depression and substance abuse, wellness and mental health. She is also the director of clinical training of TC’s Ph.D. program in clinical psychology.
