Cardona, Rock and Sealey-Ruiz Receive TC's Elaine Brantley Award

This year's recipients of TC's Elaine Brantley Memorial Award for Community and Civility are Evelyn Cardona, Administrative Assistant in the College's Office of School and Community Partnerships;Thomas Rock, Executive Director of Enrollment Services; and Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz, Assistant Professor of English Education.

This year’s recipients of TC’s Elaine Brantley Memorial Award for Community and Civility are Evelyn Cardona, Administrative Assistant in the College’s Office of School and Community Partnerships; Thomas Rock, Executive Director of Enrollment Services; and Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz, Assistant Professor of English Education. The three were recognized in a ceremony following President Susan Fuhrman’s State of the College address on October 24th. Honoring the memory of Elaine Webster Brantley, a cashier in the TC cafeteria at Teachers College for 24 years, the award recognizes employees who consistently promote a sense of community, culture and civility at the College. The Brantley Award is sponsored by the Vice President’s Office for Diversity and Community Affairs.
