When the College embarked on TC's first Impact Day, it was specifically to engage our community in supporting unrestricted giving for students and create opportunities to come together and make a difference. Over the past five years, TC community members have answered the call. Impact Day giving supports student financial aid, bolsters research and scholarship, and provides flexibility to launch new initiatives and support the College’s priorities. Simultaneously, alumni come together to support their communities through service events and virtual calls-to-action. This March 4 marks our fifth annual Impact Day, offering opportunities to contribute and create lasting impact.
Make your gift now through March 4 to be counted in our Impact Day success, and explore a few ways that you can get involved in this year’s 5th Annual Impact Day:
Make a gift. Whether supporting students, programs, faculty, or the College as a whole, every gift extends opportunity from Teachers College to the communities we serve. Your contribution from now through March 4 becomes access for a student, fuel for groundbreaking research or the foundation for a program that transforms how we teach and learn.
Team up to make a difference through local service events in your community — food and clothing drives, neighborhood clean-ups and more. Find an event near you to connect with fellow TC community members and make a difference ahead of Impact Day.
Show your appreciation to our donor community, who are essential to TC’s critical work. Are you on campus on March 4? Stop by Everett Lounge from 1:30-4:30 pm EST to sign a message of appreciation and thank TC’s donors for their support. Refreshments will be served.
Know a TC student or alum making a difference? Help us celebrate their impact across their community through work in education, health or psychology. Nominate them — or yourself— for the TC Impact Spotlight and help us celebrate true impact here at Teachers College. Submit your nomination online by February 19, and stay tuned for details on how to vote for our Impact Spotlight honorees.
