Community Ceramics Program

The Advanced Community course is for students with prior ceramic experience, focusing on discussion and creative thought to cultivate personal expression in clay.

The Community course is an open-level skill-based course that focuses on different aspects of creating with clay: hand building, wheel-throwing, and surface decoration, among many others.

Courses in the Community Ceramics Program are open to anyone 18 years and older.

**Current matriculating TC students are ineligible to register for these courses.

For the Fall and Spring semesters, courses typically last for 13 weeks and meet for 2 hours. For the Summer semester, courses typically last for 10 weeks and meet for 2.5 hours. Special Topics courses range in length and duration.

Unfortunately, due to our small space and high interest in courses, students can only register for one, hands-on making course a semester. The Special Topics course and workshops do not apply.
