Special Topics: Mold-Making and Slip-Casting
This Special Topics course will focus on mold-making and slip-casting. Students will learn how to create and prepare forms for mold-making. Single and multi-part molds will be explored. Students will also learn how to cast their molds. All levels are welcome.
Course fees include access to open studio, casting slip, plaster, glaze, and firing. Students who register for this class will have studio access for glazing until August 8. Please note that access to the studio clay is not included. Students who wish to access the clay (stoneware, porcelain, or sculpture clay) are required to pay an additional $45 fee.
