Research Discipline/Bio
I am a researcher and educator specializing in instructional design and educational technology, with a focus on faculty hesitancy toward online learning. My research applies theory to examine how pedagogical concerns, technological barriers, and institutional misalignment influence faculty adoption of online teaching. I use mixed methods to identify internal and external factors shaping faculty perceptions, and to develop strategies that build confidence and readiness in a time of relentless change in higher education. As a scholar-practitioner, my work bridges research and practice to improve institutional approaches to instruction and faculty engagement.
