E.Y. Zipris is an A&AE doctoral student and adjunct professor working at the intersection of art, history, education, and social justice. Zipris' early graduate studies centered her decades-long work on monuments and memorials on structural historical forgetting; her current research focuses on creative technologies and social justice practices in museum contexts, specifically the impact of web3 decentralized technologies on traditional museological hierarchies.

In the field, Zipris has over 20 years of experience in the cultural sector and is the former Director of Education at the Museum of the City of New York. E.Y. is currently working and consulting on projects focusing on art, public forms, and urban spaces.

E.Y. also has decades long involvements in multiple progressive Jewish social justice organizations and is the co-founder of RiseUpYU, a movement that works to ensure LGBTQ+ Jews are fully included in Orthodox communities.
