James Purpura is currently the editor of Language Assessment Quarterly.

The Mariana Souto-Manning Teacher Scholarship was established by the Early Childhood Education Assembly of NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English). Randall E. Allsup has been asked to serve on the Editorial Boards of Philosophy of Music Education Review and Research Studies in Music Education.

Randall E. Allsup has been elected to serve on the Grammy Foundation's Steering Committee for the first-ever Grammy Award in Music Education. He spent much of the summer adjudicating quarter and semi-finalists.

Corbin Campbell was recently selected as an Academic Fellow for the Institute for Higher

Education Policy (IHEP)/Lumina Foundation Policy Direct program.

Ellie Drago-Severson’s book: Learning for leadership: Developmental strategies for building
