Scholarly Interests

Primary research interest is the civic mission of higher education institutions and how it impacts the communities where higher education institutions are located. In particular the factors that help or hinder academic persistence for housing-insecure college students.

Also interested in community partnerships, specifically university-assisted community schools.

  • Establish new partnerships to support programming at TCCS.
