Erik Voss' research interests include applications of natural language processing in applied linguistics, language assessment and technology, and language assessment validation research. He is a member of the executive board for the International Language Testing Association (ILTA) and has served as webmaster for ILTA and secretary of the Midwest Association of Language Testers (MwALT). Dr. Voss was employed as Associate Teaching Professor at Northeastern University in Boston, adjunct faculty at Hawaii Pacific University and Rockford College, and visiting instructor at the Chinese People’s Public Security University, Beijing, China, and Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minnesota.
