Do you have a weekly option?
Our program is designed as a month-long experience. This allows us to create a strong camp community and engage in deep scientific explorations in each camp group. All campers attend for the full month of camp and we are not able to prorate for any time missed.
Do you provide transportation?
We do not provide transportation. Teachers College campus is easily accessible through the following public transit options: the 1 train and the M4, M5, M11, and M104 buses. https://www.tc.columbia.edu/about/visit/
Do you provide aftercare past 3:15pm or morning programs for campers who arrive before 8:30am?
We are not able to provide before or aftercare at this time.

Can I request that my child be placed in a certain group or with a certain one of their friends?
Yes, all admitted camp families will have the opportunity to submit a Special Request Form, requesting the placement of your child in the same group with one other child. Group placements are determined by campers’ age, and we do our best to honor all reciprocal requests.
What age can students attend Hollingworth Science Camp?
Our camp offers programs for rising 1st graders to rising 5th graders.
My child is six years old and will have completed preschool before camp starts in July. Are they eligible to apply to camp?
No, we are only able to accept campers who have completed Kindergarten, regardless of their age.
How many campers are in each group? How many teachers?
Each of our classrooms consists of 25 campers and 3 teachers.
Where is the camp located?
Hollingworth Science Camp is located at Teachers College, Columbia University campus at 525 W 120th St in Upper Manhattan.

Do you have a weekly option?
Yes. Our financial aid process is independent of the application process and begins after your child is offered enrollment. If your child is offered a space in our program, you can request a financial aid application. Families who apply for financial aid will not be required to begin making payments until after the financial aid process is completed.
