Dear Members of the TC Community,
It is my pleasure to share that Timothy Lee will join Teachers College as Vice President for Enrollment Management beginning on June 1, 2026. As a member of my cabinet, Tim will oversee the Division of Enrollment Management, encompassing student recruitment, research, admission, enrollment marketing, financial aid, the registrar and the Cowin Student Success Hub, our newly established one-stop shop for centralized student support services.
Timothy Lee
Tim has built an impressive career over more than 25 years in higher education. He joins TC from Le Moyne College, where he has served as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing since 2018. He has also worked in and led enrollment offices at diverse New York state institutions including SUNY Albany, Hilbert College, Daemen College and Manhattan College. He has helped each of the institutions where he has worked to achieve record new student enrollments, as well as to reshape and develop long-term enrollment strategies. At Le Moyne, Tim generated several of the largest first-year classes in college history; grew the applicant pool to record numbers; helped to achieve a 10-year retention rate high; and transformed the graduate admissions office into an admission and student success office centered on the graduate student experience.
Tim has also served in crucial leadership roles within the admissions profession, including as president of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC) and as a member of the board of directors for the National Association for College Admission Counseling. He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from SUNY Buffalo and his MBA in Management Concentration and B.S. in Finance and Management from Manhattan University.
Tim was selected from a highly competitive candidate pool. Through a range of stakeholder interviews including faculty, staff, students and Trustees, he demonstrated significant skill and experience as a collaborative, creative and successful leader and colleague. I am grateful to those who participated and provided invaluable assistance in our recruitment process and I look forward to welcoming Tim to the Teachers College community in June.
Sincerely,
Thomas Bailey
