Welcome from the Staff Advocacy & Support Council!
The Staff Advocacy & Support Council (SASC) plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in championing the interests of non-union full-time professional staff across the College. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, SASC is a steadfast advocate and support system for non-union full-time professional staff, ensuring their contributions are recognized and their voices are amplified.
With strong backing from the Office of the Vice President for Administration and the Office of Human Resources, SASC’s mission includes promoting transparent communication between staff and leadership while fostering opportunities for professional growth, staff recognition, and community connection. Read our Mission & Vision.
What do SASC members do?
Council members serve on numerous committees throughout the College as well as partner with the offices, ensuring that the perspectives of professional staff are represented in institutional conversations. Whether it's employee engagement, belonging, input in policies, or wellness initiatives, SASC is at the table, providing thoughtful input on matters that affect staff daily.
