Dear Colleagues:
Following yesterday’s message about upcoming community conversations, we are pleased to share information about a brown bag lunch series being offered for faculty through Advancing Community Together (ACT).
These first two sessions are designed to build your skills and comfort level in facilitating classroom conversations on challenging topics. Hosted by Marie Miville, Professor of Psychology and Education and Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs, these sessions will be held immediately following the next two faculty meetings, and are available to any interested faculty member. These will feature guest workshop facilitators, Marty Epstein and Dr. Dianne Williams, both Lecturers in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies.

Healing and Restorative Practices in the Classroom
Both sessions will be held in the Learning Theatre following the faculty meeting.
