Dear International Students and Scholars:
As outlined in President Bailey’s communication last week, TC’s Advancing Community Together (ACT) will offer a variety of programming this spring designed to provide support in navigating our current landscape.
We are pleased to write today to invite you to join TC students, faculty and staff members next week for a campus-wide community gathering focused on key topics around how to navigate the current immigration landscape. This session will be facilitated by Colleen Caden, a partner at Pryor Cashman, who is recognized as one of the nation’s top immigration lawyers, and her colleague, Evan Hey.
Prior to this general Community Session, we invite you to join us at a Pre-Session just for F-1 and J-1 students and scholars. Facilitated by Dr. Angela Jeon-Huh, Director of the Office of International Students and Scholar Services (OISS), and the OISS Team, this session will allow for an opportunity to meet with the OISS team, and review current F-1 and J-1 requirements and upcoming spring programs offered by OISS.
Please note: These sessions will only be offered in person for TC ID holders, and no recordings or guests are permitted. Registration is set up as an anonymous collection, with an option to submit questions in advance. You are welcome to join one or both of the sessions, but the Community Session is campus-wide and will pertain to general immigration concerns, beyond F-1 and J-1.
