Keeping your site current improves user engagement. You want your users to consider your site trustworthy, interesting, and easy to read so they will return again to see what's new.
March
ACADEMIC CATALOG PROCESS BEGINS
The Academic Catalog content is used as the source-of-truth for course listings/descriptions and faculty listings and is posted on the website each year. The process is managed by the Registrar's Office and begins in the spring with catalog content submitted and reviewed through late-summer.
April - August
REVIEW GENERAL WEBSITE CONTENT
Make sure your website is ready for the next academic year:
- Review program/department/office contact info- email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers.
- Review users who have access to edit your site- submit new Terminal Four user requests and remove any users who should no longer have access.
- Make sure your team has assigned a point of contact who is accountable for your website.
- Remove any outdated content (projects or research studies with past dates, events with past dates).
- Make sure faculty listings on program sites are up-to-date.

WEBSITES FOR BRAND NEW PROGRAMS
Contact the Admissions and Digital Campus teams to create a website for any new programs so prospective students can view program highlights, details and requirements.
- Sites should be live by August when Admissions processes rollover for next year's applications.
August - September
ACADEMIC CATALOG CONTENT IS PUBLISHED ON DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM SITES
The Academic Catalog, course listings, and faculty listings appear on the website as part of the content submitted during the Academic Catalog process.
Year-Round
TASKS TO DO ALL YEAR
- Remove any outdated content (projects or research studies with past dates, events with past dates).
- Ensure social media account automatic feeds to are connected.
- Refresh your site with attractive, high-quality images (not to exceed 300 kb). You can collect images throughout the year, and store them until you're ready to use them.
