- Use Chrome as your browser

If you continue to have issues accessing the portal, please reach out to tcnext@tc.columbia.edu.
At TC NEXT, we believe it's our responsibility to prepare you for the expectations of the working world and to provide you with the best career support services possible. We understand that last-minute emergencies may arise that affect your ability to attend a confirmed TC NEXT program or event. Because our team’s time is valuable, it’s important that you communicate if your schedule changes.
You may cancel the appointment directly in the Career Resources Portal up until 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. If the appointment is less than 24 hours away, please reply to the appointment confirmation email.
TC alumni have full access to TC NEXT services and events. We encourage you to connect with the Alumni Relations team for further support.

Hire at TC
We are delighted to host you on our Career Resources Portal, which is the best way to connect with our current students and extensive alumni network. Our portal houses a job board, individual student profiles, and allows you to reach individuals in our community directly. To join as an employer, register for an employer profile.
Navigate to the Career Resources Portal and select “Sign Up for an account” to register as an employer. Please note that you must use an email and physical address that are valid and associated with your organization for your account to be approved. Employer user guides are available to guide you through creating an account, completing your employer profile, and posting job opportunities.
Navigate to the Career Resources Portal and select “Sign Up for an account” to register as an employer. When completing the “Employer” field, search the drop-down for your company. Please keep in mind any acronyms that may have been used. Your new user account will automatically be linked to the chosen employer.
No, you do not need to pay to promote job opportunities to TC students on the Career Resources Portal. However, the host site, 12twenty, charges employers to post to their global network which reaches all universities that use the platform. To post free of charge to the TC community, please be sure you are posting from TC’s portal: https://teacherscollege.12twenty.com/jobPostings
We find that our students and alumni are most likely to apply to job postings that include the following information:
- A brief introduction to your organization
- Several key features and characteristic responsibilities of the position
- Job location details, as well as modalities like in-person, hybrid, or remote
- Qualifications or skills you are looking for in an ideal candidate
- Any benefits, perks, or unique aspects of working at your organization
If you meet the criteria for NYC's Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements law, then you must include a salary range for your position. To promote access and equity, we recommend that all employers, regardless of location, consider including a salary range in their postings.
Unfortunately, this feature is not available through 12twenty at this time.
Unfortunately, our office does not accept any private family postings in our database, even if the position is full-time. If you are looking for educational support for your children, the Office of Teacher Education may be able to offer support and post your opportunity to their students.
