The Tisch Food Center is working with diverse stakeholders for a strong Child Nutrition Act.
The NYC Alliance for CNR is a group of diverse stakeholders working together for a strong Child Nutrition Act. The Alliance is convened by City Harvest and the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education, & Policy at Teachers College Columbia University.
The Alliance first convened in March 2009 to
1) Advocate for priorities for NYC in the 2010 Child Nutrition Reauthorization
2) Act cohesively to deliver our shared message to policy makers and the public.
Now, we convene again to ensure more progress. The Alliance is establishing goals and consensus statement of priorities. We will then seek support for those priorities.Want to get involved? Visit http://www.nyc4cnr.org/
