Dear Members of the TC Community,

As Covid-19 cases continue to dramatically rise across the city, the College has decided to move remaining Fall 2021 classes and exams online next week, December 20-23, and we are strongly encouraging staff members to work remotely if they are able to. This means:

  • Students should plan to attend all classes and exams remotely. If you need assistance with remote access, please visit the TCIT student resource page and open a ticket if you have any questions not answered on this page. Students with disability-related needs should contact OASID for additional support and resources.
  • Faculty members should plan to teach and administer exams remotely. If you need assistance moving classes or exams online, please send a request to the Digital Futures Institute (DFI). If you do not have access to the technology necessary for remote instruction, you may come to campus to utilize technology. Please contact TCIT for hardware concerns.
  • Staff members and student workers should plan to work remotely if you are able. Please contact your supervisor if you need clarification on whether your job requires you to be on campus during this time.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we adjust course during this ever-evolving situation. We will be in touch next week with further updates. As a reminder, TC’s winter break will begin at 1:00 pm on December 23.

Sincerely,
