Dear Members of the TC Community,

It’s been wonderful to see so many of you back on campus! We’re happy to report that positive cases of COVID-19 within the community dropped by approximately 60% between the week of January 24 and January 31, mirroring plummeting rates of infection across the city. We are confident this downward trend will continue with our commitment to getting boosted. Please be sure to get your booster and submit the proof right away, if you are eligible. We look forward to spending more time together in-person this spring!

Random Testing Program

To fortify our health and safety measures, we will resume the Random Testing Program on Monday, February 14. Here’s what you need to know:
  • Each week a random 5% sample of individuals who have accessed campus within the last 120 days will be selected to upload results from a new PCR test. Because the program is completely randomized, you may be selected for testing multiple times during the semester.
  • Selected individuals will receive an email on Monday morning with the subject line “ACTION REQUIRED: You have been selected for the COVID-19 Random Testing Program.” You will then have two weeks to upload the results from a new PCR test (not a rapid test). Instructions for uploading will be provided in the selection email.
  • Free PCR tests are available at CU; simply visit the CU Health Portal to make an appointment. Whether you get tested at CU or another location, you MUST upload your results using the form link that will be provided in your selection email.
  • If you do not comply with the Random Testing Program, your access to campus will be removed.
