Exhibition Dates: Sept 1 - Sept 25 

The Macy Art Gallery at Teachers College is excited to kick off the 2020-21 school year with its annual open-call student exhibition, September Primer. This year's September Primer exhibition will be hosted online so our entire global community can experience and engage with the work. Participating artists must qualify as current or incoming Art and Art Education students in the 2020-21 academic year. If you are interested in submitting work to this online exhibition, please carefully review the information and instructions below.

Submission Form

  • Participating artists must complete this submission form
  • Information on the form will be used for artwork identification and artwork description. 

Submission Dates

July 24, 2020, through August 24, 2020

Artwork Specifications

  • Students are welcome to submit up to 4 artworks
  • Digital images/video of artwork may include 2-D, 3-D, Video, and New Media
  • Submissions must be properly formatted in JPEG/PNG/PDF/MOV to display on our website and Instagram account. (We ask that videos not exceed 5 minutes).
  • All submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Macy Art Gallery exhibition review committee. The exhibition review committee cannot guarantee that all submissions will be featured.
