Create an AlfrescoSync folder on your desktop

Step 1: To create an AlfrescoSync folder on your desktop, you will first need to download one of the following files:

Windows users: If you are not certain whether you have a 32bit or 64bit system, go to the Control Panel, click on System and Security, and click on System. 
32 or 64 bit

Step 2: Once installed you will see this icon on your desktop or you can get the shortcut from your Applications folder.    Alfresco Icon Click on the icon and the following Alfresco Sync window will appear:

Step 3: Enter your UNI in the User field.  In the Password field, enter your UNI ID password.  In the Server field, enter Once you are done, click on Login.

Step 4: Now create a folder on your desktop and name it.  To change the folder location from the C drive to your desktop, select Browse > Desktop > (name of the folder).

Step 5: In order to view your sites in Alfresco Sync you must sign into File Share and make your sites Favorites by clicking on the star.  After this is completed select Refresh in the Alfresco Sync Folder.

‌Step 6: To sync a site, click on the box next to the site and select Sync.  The site with all documents will be synced to your Desktop folder.
