Customize Your Course

Click on Edit settings in the Administration panel under Course administration on the left side of your course page.

Editing Settings
You will have many editing options to choose from. (click on the ? for an explanation of option). Under General you can personalize the 'Course full name', make the course invisible to the students, adjust the 'Course start date'.

Under Description you can add a 'Course summary' as text or as a document to appear on the Moodle Home Page.

Under Course format you can change the 'Format' (Weekly or Topics), the 'Number of sections' that appear on the page.

Under Appearance you can hide the gradebook and activity report from students.

Under Files and uploads you can set a Maximum upload size of documents from 10KB to 18MB.

Under Groups you can config groups for your class after you've set them up by setting Default groupingGroup mode lets you choose whether participants have access to only their own group's correspondence or to all.

Remember to Save when you are done.
