Isaac Solano, M.A. 2015, is the second year student in the Ph.D. program in Education and Leadership at the University of Denver, CO. Recently, he has been named a Barbara L. Jackson Scholar by the University Council for Educational Administration. It is a prestigious program that provides mentoring and support for current doctoral students of color who want to one day become tenure track faculty at a university.
