Diversity drives innovation; diverse perspectives allow organizations to solve complex problems. As the racial/ethnic diversity of our student population increases, we must also pay attention to district and school conditions that constrain efforts to recruit, support, and retain teachers of color. I trust that over the coming months we might continue to work together to find solutions to this urgent issue.
