The ACT Awareness Session with Project Shema is scheduled for:
Tuesday, March 4
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Horace Mann 433
Project Shema is a training and support organization focused on addressing contemporary antisemitism with an emphasis on how anti-Jewish ideas and implicit biases can be carried alongside conversations about Israel and Palestine. Listening with curiosity and compassion is at the center of their relational engagement approach, and the organization’s goal is to help others understand Jewish identity, stories and lived experiences. Note that this is a 4-hour session.
This session is intentionally small, with no more than 30 participants in each, so that they will be meaningful and interactive. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
If you register and can no longer attend, please let us know at tcACT@tc.columbia.edu so that we may extend the seat to another interested individual.
To request disability-related accommodations, contact OASID at oasid@tc.edu, (212) 678-3689, as early as possible.
