Documentary Film Screening of "A is for Angicos" by filmmaker Catherine Murphy
 
"A is for Angicos" is a documentary about the work of Paulo Freire on literacy. It shows the foundations of Paulo Freire's pedagogy in practice and includes interviews with people that participated in the first literacy campaign in the Northeast of Brazil. The film is approximately 30 minutes long, and will be followed by a discussion led by Marcella Winter, Doctoral Candidate in the International and Comparative Education Program.
