The objectives of the Workshop session are to:

  1. Spotlight the role of resilience in countering narratives of hate.
  2. Support educators and educational personnel with tactics to implement in-school practices to prevent hate and discrimination and avoid Educational Displacement.
  3. Help educators and educational personnel cultivate an awareness of their positionality and assumptions to bring awareness of biased speech and conduct in themselves and students.
  4. Engage with educators as they contribute their experiences, lessons and stories and join a network interested in collaboration and learning.
  5. Present ways for educators to increase a sense of belonging among all students in schools.
