Rejuvenating Our Praxis: Sharing Critical Hope

Location:
GDH179
Open to:
TC Community

This gathering is designed to position teachers, school leaders, and curriculum workers as the experts we are, and to share our passions, knowledge, and skills.

Program highlights include a call to action by Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul (author of Antiracist Reading Revolution: A Framework for Teaching Beyond Representation Toward Liberation and Stamped from the Beginning for Kids), presentations of teachers’ curricular innovations, teacher-led research, education activism and advocacy, and book talks. Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to think together out loud with other educators who insist on bringing joy and meaningful learning experiences into classrooms and schools. This is a day of celebrating what is possible to manifest in classrooms, schools and communities.
