As part of the journal’s participatory approach to education, we bring together the academic community - faculty, students, youth, parents, practitioners, and community members.

On Wednesday, March 22nd from 3pm-4pm EST, we will host our Spring 2023 book talk.

The author of Transgender Students in Elementary School: Creating an Affirming and Inclusive School Culture (Dr. Melinda Mangin) and assistant professor at Dominican University (Dr. Katherine Lewis) will discuss the best ways elementary teachers can support transgender and gender-expansive students. Read Dr. Lewis' TCR book review here.

This event will be moderated by Dr. Nancy Lesko, TCR's executive editor.

Contribute to the conversation by tweeting your questions to @TCRecord before and during the talk. We encourage you to RSVP to this event, as there is an attendee limit.

Ten attendees will win a copy of the book! So snag your ticket now, as virtual space is limited.

Closed captioning will be available.
