Build your network and reach your career goals by developing an effective professional pitch. In this webinar, career consultant and coach Nancy Leighton (M.Ed. '97) will teach participants how to develop a pitch for any professional situation, including interviews.

Nancy Leighton oversees a successful Career Counseling and Coaching practice in New York, NY and also remotely with clients worldwide. Prior to starting her private practice, Nancy spent 12 years at the Starr Career Development Center (SCDC) at Baruch College/City University of NY. She served as the center’s first Internship Coordinator and then went on to start Alumni Career Services. During her tenure at Baruch, Nancy also served as the Co-Executive Director of a Baruch College Executive Education program called “Opting Back In: A Program for Professionals Re-entering the Workforce.” Nancy is a Certified Career Counselor designated by the National Career Development Association as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of NY. In addition to her work with private clients, Nancy leads workshops and programs for organizations including TAP (The Acceleration Project), Alliance Bernstein (Bernstein University) and the Mid-Westchester JCC. Recently, Nancy became a volunteer career coach for the not-for-profit Dress for Success. She holds an Ed.M and a MA in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College/Columbia University as well as a BA in English from Lafayette College.
