Natural Materials

We intentionally use as many natural materials as possible, bringing the outdoors into our classroom. Our rationale is three fold: we hope to encourage children to engage in messy nature play both outside and inside; we hope that bringing the outside in will allow the children to see nature in a different light, exposing children to the awe and wonder that is at their doorstep; and we hope that families can see how simple it can be to create nature-based, engaging activities for their children.
