Programs in Anthropology are proud to announce that Caprice Corona, Anthropology & Education Ph.D. student, will be leading a President's Invited Session at the upcoming Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) Annual Meeting. Caprice will be presenting on the topic "Recombinant Student Futures: From Everyday Crisis To Everyday Camaraderie Among Anthropologists-In-Training." The session co-chair is James Robbins, a Ph.D. Candidate and M.A. student at the University of South Florida.

This audience-driven listening session emerges from talks with the Higher Education Topical Interest Group, inviting participants to share their experiences, create a community of support, and strategize ways of wading these significant challenges. The presenters aim to manifest positive futures for students in Anthropology by sharing resources and information, and building a powerful network of anthropologists-in-training. 

The upcoming Annual Meeting will be held from March 17-21, 2026 in Albuquerque, with the theme "The Everyday Practice of Applied Anthropology." The President's Invited Session featuring Caprice is taking place on Thursday, March 19th from 3:45-5:30pm in room Alvarado F. We encourage all SfAA participants to attend this exciting event.
