Microcourse 3

Microcourse 3: Using Digital Tools for Formative Assessment

In this module, participants explore how digital assessment tools can help teachers collect and analyze evidence of student learning. These tools provide real-time feedback about student understanding and allow teachers to identify patterns in student thinking.

Participants examine examples of student responses collected through digital assessments and analyze how these responses reveal misconceptions, partial understanding, and emerging ideas.

Teachers then design a short digital formative assessment activity that collects evidence of student learning. After implementing the activity, participants analyze the results and reflect on how digital assessment tools can guide instructional decisions.
