Event Promotion


The Office of TC Generation offers support and guidance on the promotion of College events. To help ensure a successful, well-attended and accessible event, organizers can leverage a wide variety of communications methods to promote it to the campus community and, where relevant, the general public. 

Contact the Office of TC Generation at (212) 678-3412 to discuss additional communications methods to market your event, including outreach to external media and advance stories on the TC website.

Display your event on the online calendar

If you have a T4 account, you can add events to the calendar through your site following our instructions and guidelines. 

Post your event to the TC Eboard

The eBoards are located throughout main level hallways and the cafeteria and they can help to advertise upcoming events. You may request posting an event on the eBoards by logging in to the eboard submissions system using your Columbia ID and password.

Social Media

TC has an active presence on many social media accounts. Your department, program or center may already have a social media account. Check here for more information. Contact digital@tc.columbia.edu to discuss the potential opportunity to promote an event via TC’s institutional social media accounts.

TC E-newsletters

College events can be submitted for consideration to be featured in TC e-newsletters.
