Alumni Association

TC alumni are represented officially by the Alumni Association's Council, an advisory body of 35 members elected to serve two-year terms. They represent the diverse interests and needs of the graduates and other attendees of the College.

Alumni Association Roles and Committees

The Alumni Association provides alumni the opportunity to help shape the programs and resources provided to TC alumni through several Alumni Committees chaired by members of the Alumni Council.

      Awards Committee
      Galit Ben-Joseph & Peter Moock, Co-chairs
      The Awards & Recognition Committee recommends ways to recognize the accomplishments and contributions of alumni; recommends recipients of recognition; and, specifically, recommends candidates for the Distinguished Alumni and Early Career Awards and the Alumni Award for Oustanding Service.

      Alumni Council Nomination Committee
      Philip Geiger & Kate Shasha, Co-chairs
      The Nominating Committee actively solicits nominations and selects candidates for membership on the council, with consideration of demographics, diversity, and the needs of the committees. In addition, the committee is involved with the plans and implementation of an orientation program for new members.

      International Outreach Committee
      Carmine Gibaldi, Co-chair
      The International Outreach Committee recruits alumni outside the U.S. to serve as Country Representatives for the International Alumni Network, and supports them in organizing locally attractive alumni activities. The committee also promotes events for current international students, to encourage them to stay connected to TC after they have returned to their home countries. The committee works with the Offices of Alumni Relations and International Student Services.

      Young Alumni & Student Engagement Ad Hoc Committee

      The Young Alumni and Student Engagement committee will work with the Office of Alumni Relations to help to create a sense of community among the Alumni Council while also helping to foster engagement among recent alumni as well as current TC students.

      Communications Ad Hoc Committee Co Chair
      Jane Neapolitan, Co-chair
      Communications Committee members partner with Alumni Relations to act as voices that amplify TC’s mission and promote TC news and events particularly through social media, but also in-person at events.

      TC Ambassadors Ad Hoc Committee Co-Chair
      Kathleen McNally, Co-chair
      The TC Ambassadors committee will work with the Office of Alumni Relations to help to create a sense of community and camaraderie across the alumni association helping to foster engagement with alumni through events encouraging alumni networking and participation.
