Dear Members of the TC Community,

It’s great to see many of you back on campus following spring break, just in time for longer, warmer days spent together.

As previously shared, the COVID-19 working group will soon be making a decision about changes to the mask and Daily Health Screening requirements. Considering that many of us traveled over the break, we want to ensure that positive cases of COVID-19 on campus remain low before we ease our requirements. We will provide an update for you as soon as possible but, in the meantime, please continue to wear your mask indoors and complete the Daily Health Screening each day you plan to access campus (or to report changes in your health status). Here is an outline of our requirements and considerations for easing them:

Masks

  • All individuals must continue to wear surgical or higher-grade masks while indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
  • This decision has been made in consideration of the fact that many community members traveled during spring break (March 13-20), thus risking increased exposure to the virus.
  • We will provide an update on this policy in the coming days.

Daily Health Screening

  • All students, faculty and staff accessing campus should continue to complete the Daily Health Screening
  • Visitors, including alumni, should use this screening.
  • We will provide an update on this policy in the coming days

Vaccines and Boosters

  • TC will continue to require proof of COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots in accordance with CDC recommendations.
  • Community members must upload proof of a booster by May 23.

Random Testing Program

  • The Random Testing Program will continue until further notice to help us identify and quickly isolate COVID-19 transmission hotspots and clusters of infections.
