- Graduate Jude Fomeche (M.A. ’25, Social Organizational Psychology) encouraged his peers to reflect on their journeys at TC and made a request: “Wherever you’re called to help, please answer wholeheartedly-and do so often.”
- Doctoral and masters candidates from the Math, Science & Technology and Organization & Leadership departments officially graduated as the Class of 2025 and became Teachers College alumni.

For graduates of the Biobehavioral Sciences, Health Studies & Applied Educational Psychology, and International & Transcultural Studies departments.
- Graduate Aisha Chahal (Ed.D. ’25, Nursing Education) shared how she regained her confidence and found her voice as an advocate during her time at TC. "Teachers College gave me a fair chance to be unafraid to chase my dreams once again," she said.

For graduates of the Counseling & Clinical Psychology and Human Development departments
- After receiving TC’s Medal for Distinguished Service, Becky Kennedy (Ph.D. ’11), Founder & CEO of Good Inside, and Erica Belsky (Ph.D. ’13), Co-Founder & COO of Good Inside shared words of encouragement to grads, families, and the TC community. “Your degree isn’t just a credential. It’s a lens, a way to see the world. Which means, like us, your work might take you somewhere unexpected.” said Kennedy. “In a world full of fast fixes and surface-level solutions, you offer something deeper. You have insight, empathy, vision,” said Belsky. “That’s what the world needs right now. That’s what you bring.”
- Graduate Jasmine McElroy (Ed.M. ’25 Mental Health Counseling, M.A. ’25 Psychological Counseling) reflected on the “identity journey” that led her TC and through her degree program as well as the importance of self care. “I have no doubt that each of us will lift others as we reach new heights…To sustain our impact, though, we must take care of ourselves,” she said.
