Our virtual event (Un)Spoken: A Celebration of International Mother Language Day will take place on Friday, February 19th at 7pm and will feature live guest speakers and pre-recorded videos on ‘What speaking your mother tongue means to you' from the Teachers College community.

This is the sixth year that TC celebrates (Un)Spoken: International Mother Language Day, an initiative that aims to recognize all languages, particularly non-dominant languages that are sometimes unspoken or invisible, including both oral languages and sign languages. International Mother Language Day is a worldwide observance held every year on February 21st to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
