CIFLTE Workshop: Translanguaging in Storytelling
The TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate program at CIFLTE, Teachers College is hosting a workshop on March 4th, 2022, via Zoom.
Translanguaging in Storytelling
In this 1.5-hour workshop, online participants will learn how to use culturally responsive materials to create translanguaging texts that they can adapt in their lesson planning in order to support their students to become bilingual storytellers.
About the speaker
Dr. Sharon Chang is a senior lecturer and coordinator of student teaching/practicum in the Bilingual/Bicultural Education Program, Teachers College.
